Procida, Italy

These photos are from even farther back then December (which is what the last two posts have been!)  These photos are from October of last year.. almost a year old. Also can you believe it is nice enough in southern Italy so swim in the sea in October! So amazing. We went boating with are friends to the island of Procida. We also stopped at the island of Ischia and swam in some hot springs that our captain told us about.

The island of Procida is so cute and definitely a hidden gem of the Naples Bay area. Capri obviously has everyone hearts including rich and famous people but that means it is expensive and overcrowded. So I much prefer Procida and it is a shorter ferry ride away as well. I also love any town that has brightly painted houses!

We stopped off and ate some gelato in Procida and walked around the town for a bit. We brought a pot luck on the boat for lunch so we just had ice cream on the island. Also did you see the photos of the dogs I just posted on instagram @carleewengel well the first dog is a dog from this day! The dog was sitting on a ladies lap on a boat that transferred people from the island back to their big boats. So great.
