And by football I, of course, mean soccer haha.
We went to the Napoli vs. Paris Saint Germain game on in November and it was awesome. It was a champions league game and the stadium was packed with people, I am pretty sure it was sold out. The Napoli fans are amazing. So loud and excited and just fabulous. The key is to get their early and get a good seat because if not you will be sitting on the bottom row or in the aisle. Seriously it was so crazy everyone is just packed at the top of the stair case it was almost impossible to get in and out that one time I needed to go to the bathroom but it was fun all the same. It's like that saying just because something is different doesn't mean it is worse. We have gotten quite used to the Neapolitan way so it doesn't bother us that things are chaotic and unorganized. At least not in this situation, ask me next time I am using the airport ;)
The atmosphere was fabulous and it is just something that needs to be embraced! We went to another game in December with our friends and we got to sit up higher which was nice because you got a view of the whole field at once. Napoli actually won that game.
Then we went again in March, just Clark and I, to watch Juventus play Napoli. Cristiano Ronaldo plays for Juventus and if you didn't know he is basically one of the best soccer players in the world ever and probably is the best player right now. Napoli lost that game but it was still just as fun and exciting. I am not sure if we will go to another game but they are fun to experience and I am glad we got to go to three games will living here!

Valley of the Mills, Amalfi Coast
I know I never share anymore here... sorry. It's not because I don't want to. I just find it kind of daunting to edit all the photos and type out the recap so instead here are unedited photos from our hike in the Valley of the Mills on the Amalfi Coast from a couple Saturdays ago. Follow my instagram @carleewengel for more real time updates and just more updates in general. The hike was fun and tiring but mainly beautiful. Some photos are taken with my DSLR and some are iPhone photos.. you can probably tell the difference.

Gino Sorbillo Pizzeria
We finally made it to the infamous Gino Sorbillo pizzeria here in Naples. We arrived extra early because we have tried to go two times in the past and it is mobbed with people every time so this time we went early and were first in line. This is another pizzeria that calms to be the best in the world and it was pretty darn good. Fresh ingredients and a cozy atmosphere. And the restaurant inside is actually much bigger than it looks from the outside so that is nice. This pizzeria is sliding into the number 2 stop of my favorite pizza in Italy. With number one being Pepe in Grani!

Capri, Italy + a video
Just some photos from our day spent in Capri, Italy yesterday! Plus a fun video I put together at the end. Clark convinced me to get the new GoPro and it is awesome. It is so small too that you can just set it up and it is not like obnoxious. So that is the real gem of this post… scroll to the bottom for that.
We did this trip with a tour offered via an organization on our base and I am glad we did. We had a tour guide most of the time although we had time to ourselves as well. But he gave us lots of good information and we handled all the public transportation for us which was awesome. Beware the island of Capri is expensive! It was like 4.50 for a soda and 3.50 for a coffee which in Naples both of those are under 1 euro. But it was still a lovely day and we had a blast and it is so cool that we have such a beautiful island just a short ferry ride away.
This is the only time we have been to Capri before so we hadn't really explored the mainland so this was a great trip. Also the weather was nice. A little cloudy in the morning but by the afternoon the sun came out and we were glad we wore shorts! If you ever get a chance to visit Capri, I 100% recommend taking the chairlift to the top for 360 degree views of the island and the sea! Breathtaking.
