Road trips and romance inspirations

Some wonderful new inspiration for a new week. I am being very optimist and trying to make it through my last few weeks of my freshman year of college without totally going crazy. I can do it! But these inspiring photos help me along.

So first of all I really like Gillian Zinser she has a really laid back, hippie, tribal style which I enjoy alot. She is also one of my favorites on 90210 and she looks gorgeous in this photo.

Something you probably don't know about me. I grew up on an apple farm in Eastern Washingotn. It is wonderful and I wouldn't change a thing about it. I also claim to be "country" because of it. I don't know if that counts but it definitely does in my mind.

Now for the Volkswagen van. I have always wanted one. And my life dream is "when I grow up" to buy one and travel across the country in it. Sleeping at campground or grocery store parking lots. And having the time of my life meeting all types of people. Someday for sure!

Titanic. I dont even know if there is a explanation for how much I love this movie. If you ask me what my all time favorite movie is it is this movie hands down. I recently went and saw it in 3D and I'll tell you, I could have done without the 3D. The glasses are uncomfortable and annoying. I would have been perfectly happy sitting in a theater watching on the big screen in 2D crying my eyes out. It truly is an epic romance, set on a great ship during a great time period. Lovely.

And last. I haven't tried this peach popsicle recipe but boy do I want to! I definitely want summer to come and pick the peaches off the tree in my backyard back home. Once I do I will make this recipe. It wont be as pretty as the picture above, but I am sure they will taste great. The recipe is from Bakers Royale blog, they have great recipes.

I hope you enjoy!

My Interstate 90 drive

I just about drove all the way across the great state of Washington today. I drove from Spokane WA to Seattle WA. Which is about a 5 hour drive and 280 miles. My older brother plays college baseball in spokane and it was his last home game ever! Since he is a senior and all. So I just had to go watch. The drive across state wasn't the best. I think it would have been better if I had some company or new songs on my iPod. But I made it back to Seattle just in time for classes tomorrow. I also got sunburnt this weekend! But it was a really good time.

The funny thing is, is that I am also going to be doing to drive next weekend as well. There is this 12K race in Spokane called Blooms-day that my mom and I do every year, it is really fun. Well the race is next weekend on Sunday so after that I will be headed to Seattle again. I will definitely be buying some new songs for my iPod for that trip.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Did anyone do anything exciting?

Enjoy

Star gazing: Annalynne McCord

I dont know about anyone else but I love Annalynne McCord. There are so many reasons why I love her and here are a few.
-She rocks the her natural hair so beautifully

-She is on 90210
-She looks happy and comfortable
-She has great style
-Also rocking the simple flip flop

I can definitely respect a women that can rock her natural locks. I have naturally curly blonde hair and sometimes it can be a pain trying to get my hair look cute and not to wild or undone or out of control (most of the time thats they way it ends up.) I love this outfit, perfect for a summers day. Can you tell I am ready for summer?!

A weekend in Seattle

Isn't it just lovely when you get to explore the city that you live in a little bit more. So my boyfriend came to visit me this weekend in Seattle. He still lives in our hometown in Eastern Washington before he ships out for the Army in June. Anyways we had a wonderful time and the weather was so nice! It is amazing that I have almost lived in Seattle for a whole year and there is still stuff to do and see. I don't think I will ever get bored. Here just a few pictures from.... a weekend in Seattle.

Shirt Gap, Jeans Silver, Shoes Nike

Seattle Centers and the Space Needles 50th birthday, University of Washington's 150th birthday, Mariners vs. White Sox.

I had a wonderful weekend in Seattle. Now back to classes tomorrow but oh well the sun has been out so I am not complaining.

Enjoy.... What did you do this weekend? Anything new and exciting?

A kelly clarkson night

Kelly Clarkson T-Shirt, the concert, my mom and I, and the tour dates.

Going to concerts is one of my all time favorite things to do. My very first concert was Shania Twain when I was like 13. Since then I have seen Kenny Chesney, Elton John, Brooks and Dunn, Jason Aldean, John Cougar Mellencamp and so many more.

My lovely mom and I went and saw Kelly Clarkson last weekend and it was a blast. And I am telling you that girl can sing! She is also a really great performer.

What has been your favorite concert you have attend? I would love recommendations I love seeing new people.

My beauty basics

Beauty basics: Mascara CoverGirl Lash Blast Fusion, eye shadow Almay, lip balm Maybelline Baby Lips Peach Kiss 20 SPF, eye liner CoverGirl, Brush Posh.

Here is my beauty basics. As you can probably tell I go for really subtle make-up sometimes I even just wear mascara. I usually don't go to crazy with the make-up I like the natural look. I would definitely recommend trying the Maybelline Baby Lips Peach Kiss which I use above. It is the only shade I have tried out of the Baby Lip line but is it awesome!

What do you think? What is your go-to beauty supply? I would love to try something new, any recommendations?
