Gino Sorbillo Pizzeria

We finally made it to the infamous Gino Sorbillo pizzeria here in Naples. We arrived extra early because we have tried to go two times in the past and it is mobbed with people every time so this time we went early and were first in line. This is another pizzeria that calms to be the best in the world and it was pretty darn good. Fresh ingredients and a cozy atmosphere. And the restaurant inside is actually much bigger than it looks from the outside so that is nice. This pizzeria is sliding into the number 2 stop of my favorite pizza in Italy. With number one being Pepe in Grani!

Grotta Palazzese Restaurant

Have y’all seen pictures on Pinterest or Instagram of this restaurant? I remember I had before we even moved to Italy. It was one of those places you see only and think that is beautiful but I won’t ever make it there. Well when we moved to Italy I had a couple friends from America send me the picture of the restaurant and say this is in Italy you need to go. So it was in the back of my mind. Well Clark had a long weekend for the 4th of July and lucky for us we got married on the 5th of July so our wedding anniversary falls right on a long weekend so perfect reason to celebrate. Also 5 years of marriage and 9 years together that alone is worth celebrating.

I made a reservation online a few days before. Luckily we are American and like eating dinner early and one of the last opening was at 6pm for July 5th so it was perfect. The restaurant has its own free parking with a free shuttle to the restaurant so you don’t have to worry about the hassle of parking in old town.

Once at the restaurant it is magical we luckily got one of the best seats and we were sitting all alone in a little alcove. Since our reservation was the first of the night, we along with others got there a few minutes before they opened and some people were lined up at the door. Basically wherever you are in line is your chance of getting a good seat. Not that any seat is bad but some are right next to the edge.

Anyways, fair warning... it is expensive like 130 euro per person. It was the most expensive meal of our lives but hey when in Rome right? The view and ambiance and live music and experience in general were worth it and the food was good. It was definitely a bucket list experience and I am so glad I got to do it with Clark on our anniversary. One we won’t forget for sure.

Baby Shower w/printable games

While I was back home, my mom and I threw my sister in law & brother a baby shower! She isn't due until October but we wanted to do a family one when I was home and celebrate the first grand-baby in the family. I am finally becoming an aunt! I don't know if you have caught on to this but I love hosting and throwing get together. Not too frequently. But when I do I like all the games and fun little details that make something special. My mom made an awesome blueberry lemon cake this is the recipe

I was in charge of games and decorations. It was just a family thing but we did it co-ed so everyone could come and we could celebrate both my brother and sister in law. My brother was very excited to open lots of gifts. While I was still in Italy I was gathering inspiration for games and decor. I even made the garland before I left Italy and packed it with me. It is paper garland that I sewed together with my sewing machine, super easy. I also worked on making the games before I left. I pulled ideas from other places but ended up redesigning them in photoshop saving them on my computer and printing them off when I got back to WA. There are printable at the bottom of this post with an answer sheet as well.

It was a really fun gathering and people loved the games. Especially the Porn or Labor game. I saved that one for the end and everyone thought it was hilarious. Some of the guys were like "do I recognize any of these faces?" haha. We did a Sunday brunch baby shower so for food we had waffles, bacon, cream puffs, egg quiche, and a bunch of yummy toppings for the waffles. We also had orange juice and lemonade. Just talking about it is making me hungry again. I didn't get as many good photos with everyone as I had liked but I got a few and a really special one with my mom that I will love forever and ever!

Ps. Here are the printable baby shower games. I ever know how to do this properly so I just uploaded the whole file and you can back click / right click and save them to your computer. The answers are all one one sheet at the end of the post. And for the bingo and price is right games those are going to depend on your party so no answer sheets for those 2. Enjoy!

Best Burger Drive-Ins in North Central WA

Hey guys I am back with a few recommendations if you are ever in Eastern Washington / North Central Washington. If you are in the market for a great burger or milkshake or corndog or chicken strip basket these places are for you! These are places from my childhood and I made sure to visit and eat at each one while I was home and I thought I would put them here just in case anyway was searching for some good food and retro decor.
1. Lakeview Drive-In: Chelan WA
I ate at this one three times while I was home. It is only 20 minutes from my hometown so I ate here a lot when I was grow up and in the summers. They are only open from May to around September (maybe October.) They also recently downsized their menu but they still have all the good stuff. My favorite is the corn dog. Their burgers and chicken strips are also really good but my favorite park is the crinkle fries and fry sauce! They also have great ice cream and milkshakes. You can walk up, drive up, or call in your order ahead of time. There is only outdoor seating. Go here and order the french fries you won't be disappointed!
2. EZ's : Wenatchee WA
We stopped here when we were in Wenatchee after one of my brothers baseball games. I also remember eating here as a child mostly their milkshakes. I had mini corndogs (can you tell I miss corndogs, they don't have them in Italy!! haha) and fries. Once again great fry sauce. My mom had a burger she said was amazing and my brother had a bacon burger with a chocolate milkshake. I had a vanilla milkshake. Just doesn't seem like you should be able to visit a drive-in with out ordering a milkshake. This one is on more of the expensive side compared to the other two drive-ins I am recommending but still worth it and really fun decor!
3. Rusty's Drive-In : Cashmere WA
We ate here on our way from the airport to home when my mom picked me up. Their Rusty Burger is what they are famous for and it is delicious. We also got fries and onion rings! There fry sauce is a little odd so I wouldn't recommend that but everything else was spot on.

Now these are not all of the great burger joints in Eastern Washington just the ones that I visited while I was back home. Also my bad for not taking any photos of the food besides my ice cream, you'll just have to take my word for it I guess.
