I love Pinterest

....what a cheesy title to this post. Just saying. Anyways like the title states I love Pinterest. Who doesn't? I have had a Pinterest for sometime now (find it here) and I would like to formally introduce it to my readers and talk about all the things I love about it. 

My favorite boards on my Pinterest are Beautiful Clothes (of course right?), When I get married (now this might be far off but still its great), Healthy Living (this is my board for all the random things in life that make living healthy), and Looking Yummy (for all those awesome recipes). These are just my favorites.

As you can tell, I used a vintage filter on these photos. I like it for this shoot. It is kind of magical/romantic with the bubbles. Usually I just like using the regular color of the photos but it is always fun to try something new. 

I have spent the last few days eating way to much, slip and sliding, working (a little), and enjoying the beautiful weather. We have had family from out of town here all week and it has been a blast. With frisbee golf, ping pong, the slip and slide, basketball, fireworks, etc etc, there has not been a dull moment around here in a while. And I like it that way. Its nice to have the chaos once in a while.

Fireworks

What a mighty fabulous couple of days it has been. My family and I have been eating hotdogs, hamburgers, fried chicken, watermelon, potato salad, corn on the cob, etc etc. We have set off so many fireworks and watched our towns display as well. The photographer in me couldn't help but get out my camera and tripod for the festivities and here is what I ended up with.

So this morning with more family headed our way for the weekend, I have been busy making brownies, cookies, and cupcakes. The cupcake box said it would make 24 cupcakes. But I only got 17 out of the batter. What is that about? It is finally getting into the 90s here in eastern Washington. So needless to say I am excited to head off to my lifeguarding job today. 

Also it is mine and Clark's 2 year and 9 month anniversary. And yes I'm still a 14 year old that counts months. Does anyone else still do this or am I alone?
