Apples are great and around my house there is also an abundance since I grew up on an apple farm! When I went home this past weekend for my dad's birthday I knew I wanted to make a yummy breakfast for my family that included a great fruit!
What you'll need
1 apple
Cinnamon
Honey
Pancake Mix
Water
Maple Syrup
1. So first I pealed and cut the apple. The apple pieces need to be pretty small, you don't want any huge piece. 2. Microwave apples for 1 minute. 3. Sprinkle 2 tbsp of cinnamon on apples and 1 tsp of honey. 4. In a separate bowl mix up the pancake batter. 5. Pour apples mix in with the pancake mix. 6. Stir well. 7. Pour on griddle and cook. 8. Top with your favorite maple syrup. I get mine from this farm in Vermont!
Enjoy this wonderful breakfast treat. I think it is just perfect for this time of year!
love, Carlee

I actually made pancakes for the first time a couple of months ago! Seriously! :) They were okay, I suppose. Just regular pancakes. I'd like to put some blueberries or raspberries in them next time. Since it's getting colder, though, cinnamon seems like a good fix as well! Thanks for the recipe!
ReplyDeleteThese sound so good! I made fried apples a couple of weeks ago because I was craving them. But apples and pancakes sound wonderful right now.
