Saturday Putt Putt

This past Saturday Clark and I went Putt-Putting and it was a really good time. The weather was nice and it was Saturday so the place was pretty full of families. When we walked in Clark said "do we need a kid to be in here?" I laughed he was joking of course. We actually lucked out and didn't really have any pushy people behind us or any 'to slow' people in front of us. It was nice to just relax and go at our own pace and enjoy the day. These are the memories I want to remember. These are the photos that I don't want to earse and regret later for not being able to find them. That is why I am sharing them here.  I know that there is just us two right now and a dog so you think every day would be date night but it's not. Most days its relaxing on the couch so it's fun to get to have a teenageish kitschy date night once in awhile which is exaclty what this was.
Things we saw:
We did happen to see a little kid accidentally hit it sister in the head with the putter, there was crying and consoling of course.

A dead bird was on the course covered in flies right behind the 4th hole tee.

2 kids that were behind us got hole-in-ones on a green that took me 4 tries to get in.

Happy Tuesday

Garden nursery

These are some of my favorite outfit photos ever. This place is called Carolina Farmer's Market and it is on Raeford Rd in Fayetteville NC. If you ever in town, it's worth the visit. We actually got a pumpkin and mum in the fall here, and they have Christmas trees in December. I think it is super cool how they change stock from season to season. And right now they have the prettiest of flowers. I drove by it the other day and I just knew it would be the perfect location for some photos. So many colors.

My mom would have LOVED this place. She is such a garden lady. And would spend all day in her garden if she could. I think I got a little bit of that gene but we will see when I have a house and gardens of my own. Speaking of moms it was Mother's Day yesterday and I got my mom a hydrangea plant for her garden.  Fun fact: My favorite flowers are irises and begonias. I think they are really interesting flowers and oh so pretty.
Currently, I just ordered colorful envelopes for the cards in my shop. I will be working hard this next week to implement the new colored envelopes in my shop so when they arrive I will be all set. I am super excited. I need to continue to grow and make changed with my shop and this is a step in the right direction. So I'll announce when the colored envelopes are in the shop. It should be at the end of the week.

I did an Airborne Jump

If you follow me on instagram you will have already gotten to see peaks of this events Now these are all just iPhone photo and I wasn't thinking about sharing these photos at first but then I thought, these are the little moments that I want to remember so this is exactly what I should be sharing and documenting. So yeah these are from yesterday when I jumped out of a 34 foot tall tower. It is the same one the soldiers that are training to go airborne use. I guess the reason is because your mind/body can't tell how high 34 feet is just like it can't comprehend how high it is when your in a plane so that is why the number is 34.
We did it in the morning. The jump masters handed out waivers stating we assume full responsibility for injury or death. ahhh. Then they gave us a few quick lessons and got everything ready to go. Then the jump master said "okay first 10 volunteers step up" so I did along with a couple other wives I knew. I was nervous but I definitely wanted to do it at that point. Also there was some kids probably around 12 years old doing it and I was like "if they can do it, I can do it." We I climbed the stairs to the top of the tower and at that point I was for sure jumping because I just wanted to get all the gear off. The jump master hooked me up and tapped me on the shoulder and I jumped. Then it was like zip lining down and some soldiers caught you at the end.
Me being all like 'it wasn't even that big of a deal.'
All it all it was a lot of fun and I probably would have done it again if there wasn't so many other people wanting to do it and needing a turn to go. After we were done we grabbed Mexican food for lunch with our friends and then Clark got to come home for the rest of the day. We also ended our night poolside because it was 90 degrees at 6:30pm. Good day yesterday.
