Home in autumn

Shirt: Concert T, Plaid Shirt: Old Navy
Autumn is so great. And I know every other person has said it but I am going to say it too autumn is my favorite season! The leaves, pumpkins, food, and Halloween is my favorite holiday! So I went home this past weekend which was a great escape from the city lights of Seattle. As I drove into my hometown I rolled down my window and smelled the scent of apple harvest in the air. While I was home I helped decorate around the house for Halloween and pick pumpkins. This is what I wore on my 4 hour drive back to Seattle a concert T and a comfy plaid pull over. I probably shouldn't be showing you this oufit...
I also switched rooms with my little brother while I was home. My bedroom was always the biggest in the house and it had been my room since we moved into the house when I was 10. Now 10 years later I am off at college and my little brother who will be in the house for 8 more years (he is now 10) definitely deserves the big room. It is a little bittersweet. But that is the taste of growing up sometimes. Its not so bad, at least I still have a room. Just a smaller one with sports wallpaper. But it does feel like I am growing up, I won't return home as often and I will make me own home someday.
Also on Saturday October 6th, it was Clark's and mine 3rd year anniversary from when we started dating. Since he is stationed in Georgia right now, we just talked on the phone and I also made myself cookies to celebrate. I can't believe it has been 3 years since we started going out. We have had are share of ups and downs just like any relationship. But I can honestly say he is still the man I want in my life and love with all my heart. And it makes me happy to be able to say that!! Someday soon I will tell you all about our love story.
Have a great Monday.
love, Carlee
