This weekend was bittersweet, as there was a graduation party for my good friend and a going away party for my boyfriend that were both super fun. But one was a going away party so definitely bitter. I said goodbye to my boyfriend yesterday morning and it was sad. At one point we were both crying so hard that we started to laugh. It was a lovely moment. One that I will think back to over this summer while he is away at Army basic training. I will definitely keep you updated on everything this summer and what it is like to have a relationship through written letters only.
I hope everyone had a lovely weekend. And I am officially going home on Wednesday. My dorm is almost all packed and I have my first final in a few hours. Yipee for me!
So sad you have to say goodbye to your boyfriend, but long distance relationships aren't as hard as some people say! I reckon it'll be fun writing letters to each other :) x
ReplyDeleteI love writing letters .. Of course, that being the only way to communicate is not fun, but you will both learn a lot about each other.

Oh, long distance can be so hard. My husband and I did that for over a year while we both studied abroad. It was hard, but it can be done. We're married now (sorry to be obvious).

ps you look cute- where is this?
This building is actually in my backyard. My mom is really into fixing up old building and is in the process of fixing this one up now. Thanks for the encouragement, I definitely need it.

meh - good byes are no fun....but letter writing can be super romantic - and when the relationship lasts through this rough part you have all these letters to look back on the way that people who talk on the phone or see each other don't have.
ReplyDeleteand i'm loving this outfit! so cute and those pictures are great, wherever you took them :)
