Leaves overhead

This weekend Clark and I went to the mall for the first time in a few months. It’s funny, growing up I lived an hour away from the nearest mall, Target, shopping places. So when you got the chance to go it was a big deal. But now that I live within walking distance of the mall and other great stores I actually don’t go much. I think I have said this before but I am not a big shopper. I will only go when I need something. This past weekend, I needed a new swimsuit and Clark needed a new pair of board shorts. While I did get an awesome new swimsuit, I also picked up this tank for $6.00 on the clearance rank of American Eagle. Score.

This is one of the my favorite outfits as of late. And I know I said that about the last outfit I posted but HEY I think the formula is favorite outfit = blog worthy. I always feel a little odd posting an outfit that is literally just sandals, tank, and shorts because it’s definitely not rocket science. But that is my style and it’s summer in the south so there will definitely not be any layering going on. So simple is what you will be seeing here this summer. 

Currently, it has been so humid here in the mornings (and afternoons and evenings). Our windows will fog and get dew on them its so humid. I know for most people that have lived in the south all their life this is a normal thing but for me coming from Washington State it’s not normal. I am getting used to it though and we keep the AC running in our apartment basically all the time. Tuesday is off to an early start,  I woke up at 6am this morning to a whining dog needing to go outside. Hopefully that means a lot will get accomplished today.
