You'll need
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 package semi sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups of shredded coconut
1 cup chopped nuts (I like pecans or walnuts)
Directions
1. Preheat over to 350 degrees F. 2. In a 13x9'' baking pan melt butter. 3. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over butter then poor sweetened condensed milk evenly over crumbs. 4. Top with coconut, nuts, and chocolate chips and press down gently. 5. Bake 25 to 30 minutes then cool throughly before cutting. 6. Makes about 24 bars.
I will be honest most of the time when I make these I will just guesstimate on how much coconut, nuts and chocolate chips to use. So if you think you want more of something, go for it! Enjoy.
Carlee,
ReplyDeleteYou always come up with the yummiest recipes! I love coconut- especially with chocolate, which I'm allergic to :-(!! But im sure it would still be good with or without chocolate. YUM! Thanks for sharing.
