I love capturing the beauty of nature. It is something so beautiful, fascinating, and yet so hard to understand and comprehend. The world around us is a gorgeous place and sometimes I get to caught up in everyday life to stop and step back and look around. That is the best. To realize what has been in front of you the whole time all you had to do was look up.
Enough of the philosophical talk. This birch tree at my house was so beautiful! My mom kept talking about it while I was home and how lovely it looked when the sun came out. I decided to capture it for myself. And I am sure glad I did. It made for some beautiful photographs.
These photos are breathtaking! They are certainly making me long for some snow over here in Seattle...it doesn't seem like winter without at least a light dusting of snow!
