The Beer House

This is the last post from my Labor Day trip to Columbus Georgia. I am excited to check up on post and current life. Nothing to exciting just cooking and decorating this apartment of ours. More to come. 

We drove by this building which was in downtown Columbus GA and I was immediately intrigued and wanted to stop and check it out. Clark being the best guy ever pulled over and we crossed the street to check it out. The inside was completely open and striped out. I just kept wondering how it got like that. Why was only the frame still standing? It was a really cool building. 

 

We had a great time walking around and seeing if we could figure out what happened to this place. I could just tell at one time this was a hopping place. I just wonder what happened. It was called The Beer House and there was an old metal for sale sign. I guess we will never know what happened but either way it made a great location for some photos. 

Anyways after we checked out this cool building we came across the Columbus ice rink and there was free ice skating so of course we went. We weren't really dresses for ice skating with shorts and t shirts but we had a great time anyways. The Columbus Ice Rink is actually home rink for Auburn University and Florida State University, which is pretty cool. Clark actually loves ice skating and told me at one point he was contemplating buying a pair of ice skates. I am glad he didn't, that probably would have been a waste of money since we don't go very often.
