Week 4: January 26- February 1
The Down on Paper Project is my new documentation process for 2015. Read more about the Down on Paper Project here. I am documenting each week in a 2 page 8.5”x11” page display. This past week was a good one. I was busy packaging orders. I got some weird plant rash on my arms and was / still am a little freaked out. But I have a doctors appointment this Friday to make sure it is okay. The Seahawks lost the Superbowl which was sad but I still love the Hawks and think they will be back again.
I celebrated Little Sloth’s 2nd birthday (the shop) on January 27th. Clark and I got some donuts at Krispy Kreme, they have the coolest Valentine’s Day ones right now and they are all so yummy! We watched the Interview on Netflix, I am reading the book Carsick, my new printer arrived, and we ordered way to much chinese food.
Current thoughts on the project: I am still loving this project. This past week I was really busy with orders from the shop, getting new products set up, and just everyday life. So I felt a little more stressed about getting my pages done. I just finished them last night and photographed them today. But I don’t want to skip any weeks and regret it later just because I was a little busy.
It would probably make more sense for me to fill in the photos day by day and that way at the end of the week I will have my pages done. But then I kind of like looking at all of the photos from the week and laying them out in an order I like. Anyways, have a great rest of the week.
love, Carlee
